Rules for library:

  • Library Hours: The library is open from 8 AM to 3 PM, Monday to Saturday
  • Silence: Maintain silence at all times to create an encouraging environment for reading and studying. Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited inside the library.
  • Membership: All students and staff members are allowed access to the library. A valid ID card must be presented upon entry.
  • Borrowing Books: Students can borrow up to 2 books at a time for a period of 7 days. Books can be renewed once if no other user has reserved them.
  • Return of Books: Books should be returned on or before the due date to avoid fines. Overdue books will incur a fine of 5 Rs. per day.
  • Reference Materials: Reference books, journals, and periodicals are for in-library use only and cannot be checked out.
  • Food and Drinks: Consumption of food and drinks is not allowed inside the library to maintain cleanliness and prevent damage to materials.
  • Computer Use: Library computers are available for academic use only. Personal browsing, gaming, and social networking are not permitted.
  • Respect Property: Handle all library materials and equipment with care. Report any damage or loss immediately to the library staff.
  • Personal Belongings: Keep personal belongings with you at all times. The library is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • Conduct: Respectful behaviour towards fellow library users and staff is expected at all times. Any disruptive behaviour will result in disciplinary action.
  • Exit: Ensure all borrowed materials are properly checked out at the circulation desk before leaving the library.
